We are at a time where we are seeing a general push to be healthier. We have more 'healthy lifestyle' programs, more 'healthy lifestyle' magazines, more access to 'health foods' and 'health diets' with more health practitioners available than ever before, and yet we still have rising rates of illness and disease.
Is it possible that aiming for 'the healthy lifestyle' does not bring the true wellbeing and vitality we are actually searching for?
This course will support participants to understand that:
- living in a healthy way is actually very natural to us and requires NO effort,
- living a naturally healthy lifestyle comes from the connection we have with ourselves through listening to and understanding our body,
- our body tells us everything we need to know about living in a healthy way.
By exposing the myth of 'the healthy lifestyle', this course will help participants to discover what living a healthy life truly is, a way of life that opens us all to being able to live to the full potential of who we are, to make healthy choices for ourselves, and to potentially heal all aspects of our lives.
Please bring pen, paper or computer, mats for floor work, a means of hydration and cushions for your comfort. Please wear comfortable clothing for body awareness exercises.
